The Most Important Question...
When choosing a photographer, a lot of people will focus on the portfolio, or the equipment the photographer uses, or the price of a 10x8 print. And whilst these things are obviously important, they are only a part of the equation.

Sneak Peek - Rachel and Steve Headshots
Rachel and Steve came to me looking for some headshots for the launch of their new venture The Reputation Consultancy - they wanted something that was professional yet relaxed and approachable. Hopefully these fit the bill, shot in the beautiful Denzell Gardens, just south of Manchester, a new venue for me but one that I will definitely be returning to!

Sneek Peek - Claire and Bob's Engagement Photos
I photographed upcoming wedding clients Claire and Bob as part of a new service that I will be offering soon - engagement photo shoots! I needed some guinea pigs (ahem... volunteers!) to try out a few new ideas on, and what better way for wedding clients to get used to having me around than to have an engagement photo shoot!

Sneek Peek - Twins Photo Shoot
When a friend from Ireland bought Giles and Gayle a photo shoot to celebrate the birth of their twins, the hardest thing was finding a time to schedule the shoot! By the time we'd organised all our busy schedules, the boys were no longer 'newborn'... but were full of character and great fun to work with.

New Year's Resolutions
Well, it's that time of year again... the time when we all write lists of things to do in the coming year, stuff them into a drawer and then don't do anything about them, until it comes to the end of the year and we think "oooh, I must do that NEXT year". And repeat, ad infinitum...

Chris made us feel completely at ease and also had a fantastic manner and alot a patience with Alfie. He not only got a lot of fabulous pictures of my son but some amazing family shots as well - Chris we cant thank you enough!!"

Smile Please...
"Smile Please". The command every photography subject dreads. The alternative "Say Cheese" induces the same reaction. Photographers hate saying it, and subjects hate hearing it. So why does it so prevelant?
